Trainer’s Curriculum
Building a Year: Facilitating Personal & Professional Development with Year-of-Service Members assists AmeriCorps & Year of Service (YoS) Site Supervisors, Program Coordinators, and Leaders in facilitating effective personal and professional development workshops with YoS members over the course of a full calendar year. With 12 chapters of curriculum, Building a Year provides professional tools and resources, offers opportunities for members to immediately test new tools in practically applicable situations, and evokes thoughtful reflection around key areas of community-based service. Throughout their year of service, members will gain valuable insight and skills, preparing them for current and future projects, while program coordinators will have the step by step curriculum to facilitate important professional development.
